Oxygen is life, stop the supply of oxygen and life is cut short. Oxygen to my mind is the energy we need without which we die quickly. It’s like the fuel needed to run the engine of your car. Our engine, the heart needs the fuel-oxygen to survive.

 

Breathing is done unconsciously and automatically that we almost seem to feel ii is not important. Life actually begins with oxygen when the baby is born; there is hardly any hope for life without oxygen.

 

We actually breathe 23,000 times a day. We have 100 trillion cells in our body and every minutes, 300 million cells die and are replaced.

 

What we take into our body reflects in us. It affects our appearance and our health in general which air (especially oxygen) is not an exception. Having this understanding, it is important we avail ourselves enough clean oxygen. Taking polluted air is synonymous to taking poisoned or food deficient in essential nutrients. It introduces toxic into your system. When it gets to a cumulative dose, it becomes inimical to your health.

 

Did you know that many illnesses are the result of oxygen starvation to the brain?  This tells us how oxygen is to us. We need to consume oxygen –rich foods. Fresh vegetables and fruits would do. Plant-based diet is the sure bet to enriching oxygen supply to your system.

 

Suffocating yourself isn’t good for your system. The energy in the cell of your body will decrease, no allowing the body function well. Good ventilation should be your primary concern.

 

It is a pity to say that this is lacking in some developing world especially in some parts of Asia and Africa where people build houses without government approved plan. Buildings are congested in rows in the slum. Sometimes the number of persons occupying just a single miniature-sized room is high depleting the available oxygen.

 

People in an oxygen starved environment are suffocating their brains. Their mood and outlook will become darken. If you ask me, I will say its depression. That is why a lot of chronic depression could be greatly helped with strenuous exercise.

 

Did you know why smoking, polluted air and sedentary life style have damaging effect on your brain? It is simply because they inhibit the absorption of oxygen. Imagine what becomes of you when you on for a long time without food. Your brains food is oxygen. It needs it to be active.

 

Research showed that cancer cells cannot multiply in an oxygen-rich environment. Sickness can’t manage a foothold in a body that is full of oxygen.
